Marc Oehler

Marc Oehler has a strong background in legal and compliance roles in the investment management industry. Marc started their career as an Associate/Rechtsanwalt at NORTON ROSE LLP in 2007. Marc then worked at SEB Investment GmbH as a Syndikus in the Legal & Tax department from 2010 to 2014. Marc went on to serve as the Head of Legal at SEB Asset Management / SEB Investment GmbH from October 2014 to February 2015. Marc then joined SEB Asset Management as the Head of Legal/Compliance Officer from March 2015 to August 2015. Marc later became the Head of Legal/Compliance Officer at Savills Fund Management GmbH (formerly SEB Asset Management) from September 2015 to July 2016. Marc currently holds the position of Head of Legal at Savills Investment Management, leading the legal department for their German and Luxembourg entities.

Following this, they attended The University of Auckland from 2004 to 2005, where they obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Jurastudium, allgemein. Additionally, from 2003 to 2005, they also attended Goethe University Frankfurt, where they obtained a Master of Laws degree in LL.M. Eur. with a focus on Jurastudium, allgemein.
