Russ Laplante

Russ Laplante has over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy industry. Russ is currently the Chief Investment Officer at Savion, a company that specializes in wind and solar power. Prior to joining Savion, Russ was the Vice President of Business Development at Tradewind Energy, Inc., where they were responsible for sourcing, due diligence, and acquisition of commercial and utility scale projects. Russ also worked as the Managing Director of Business Development at Onyx Renewable Partners, LP, where they were responsible for sourcing, due diligence, and acquisition of commercial and utility scale projects. Russ also has experience working as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs.

Russ Laplante attended Bates College, where they studied economics, from 2001 to 2005. Russ is also a Chartered Financial Analyst, having been certified by the CFA Institute.
