Sherry Degnan has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources and benefits management. Sherry is currently serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Savista RCM since October 2020. Prior to this, Sherry worked at nThrive from 2013 to 2020, holding various roles such as Vice President of Total Rewards and Senior Director of Benefits, Compensation & HRIS. Sherry was responsible for developing and implementing strategic goals, managing benefit and compensation programs, and overseeing HRIS programs. Before nThrive, Sherry worked at Angelica Corporation as the Director of Benefits, Compensation & HRIS, where they were in charge of employee benefit programs, HRIS systems, and compensation plans. Sherry also worked at Webmedx as a Benefits & HRIS Manager, playing a key role in designing and modifying benefits policies. Sherry has also worked as a Benefits Consultant and as an HR/Benefits Manager at Litigation Presentation, Inc. and Orion Healthcorp, respectively. In these roles, they focused on streamlining HR functions, compliance, recruitment, training, and implementing cost-effective employee benefit programs.
Sherry Degnan obtained a Bachelor's degree in English / Communications from Augusta State University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Sherry has also earned various certifications from LinkedIn, such as "Coaching Your Team to Think and Act Strategically," "Creating a Culture of Collaboration," "Leading through Relationships (2019)," "Skills for Inclusive Conversations," "How Leaders Can Connect Empathy and Results," "Leading with Emotional Intelligence," and "How to Use LinkedIn Learning."
