Sagar Rajale has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Sagar is currently serving as the VP of Software Engineering at Saviynt, where they lead the engineering department in building world-class Identity products. Sagar mentors teams to deliver scalable, performant, secure, and robust software. Prior to this role, Sagar held the position of Sr. Director of Software Engineering at the same company.

Before joining Saviynt, Sagar worked as a Director of Engineering and a Software Architect. In these roles, they gained experience in architecture, design, and development in fields such as high availability, failover handling, and zero-day provisioning using Oracle Identity Management (OIM) and PeopleSoft Connector. Sagar also installed and configured various products from the Oracle Identity Management Suite.

Early in their career, Sagar worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Developer, where they worked with clients in the financial, chemical, and mechanical industries. Sagar built data warehouses, designed and implemented security access review processes, and developed systems using technologies such as Core Java, Spring, IBM Datastage, SQL, Javascript, HTML, and CSS.

Before entering the software industry, Sagar gained experience as a Web Development Intern at Abstrakt Designs, where they developed and programmed web systems for clients. Sagar also worked as a Web Developer at USC Law School, where they handled database architecture and administration.

Sagar started their career as a Software Engineer/Quality Assurance Engineer at Patni Computer Systems Ltd. There, they created use cases, wrote test cases, and tested applications.

Sagar Rajale earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Vivekanand Education Societys Institute of Technology (University of Mumbai) from 2004 to 2008. Sagar then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering Specialization(Computer Networks) from the University of Southern California from 2009 to 2011.
