Anssi Suhonen

Anssi Suhonen is a Senior Lecturer and Project Manager at Savonia University of Applied Sciences, actively teaching a range of courses in Mechanical Engineering since December 2002. Suhonen is involved in the DigiBoost project, focusing on service business development through IoT and Big Data, and is also working on new water cleaning technology. Previous roles include Head of Engineering and Technology and Lecturer/Project Engineer, with courses taught in computer-aided design, industrial piping, and quality management. Anssi Suhonen has held board positions as Chief Technology Officer at Biobros Oy and as a board member at Biopallo Systems Oy, and has entrepreneurial experience as Co-Founder and CTO of EcLa Water Finland Oy. Early career experiences include roles as R&D Engineer at Veslatec Oy and Design/Project Engineer at Andritz. Educational qualifications include a Master of Sciences in Automation from Tampere University of Technology and a Bachelor of Sciences in Mechanical Engineering from Pohjois-Savon Ammattikorkeakoulu.
