Kati Partanen

Kati Partanen is a seasoned agricultural professional with extensive experience in education, board leadership, and farming. Currently serving as a Board Member and Chair of the Women's Committee at the World Farmers' Organisation since May 2013, Kati Partanen also holds board positions at MTK ry and Maatalousyrittäjien eläkelaitos Mela. As a Senior Lecturer at Savonia University of Applied Sciences, Kati Partanen manages the Maatila 2030 project and teaches courses in agricultural economics and policy, alongside various roles in curriculum development. Kati Partanen has a strong background in agricultural practices as a farmer at Agriculture - Peltola Farm, producing pig meat and various crops. An educational foundation includes a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Helsinki and vocational teacher training from Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences.
