Mahadi Mohammad

Mahadi Mohammad has extensive experience in academia and marine research, currently serving as Deputy Director and Senior Lecturer at Universiti Sains Malaysia since September 2011. Prior to this role, Mahadi worked as a PhD student at the Australian Antarctic Division from August 2005 to February 2010. Mahadi holds a PhD in Antarctic Marine Biology & Estuary from the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies, completed in 2010, and has also pursued education in taxonomy at the University of Ghent, Belgium, in 2006. Additionally, Mahadi earned an MSc in Marine Science with a focus on coral reefs from the Centre for Marine & Coastal Studies at USM between 2000 and 2003.
