Julia Penberg

Julia Penberg has a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry, beginning with their role as a Healthcare Consultant at Coopers & Lybrand Consulting in 1986. Julia then moved to Mayo Clinic in 1987 as an Accounts Receivable Manager. From 1991 to 2001, they held multiple roles at Shawnee Mission Medical Center/St. Joseph Health Center, including Practice Manager, Practice Consultant, and Utilization Review Coordinator. In 2001, they became the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Development Officer, and Director of Nursing at Doctors Hospital/The Headache and Pain Center, LLC. From 2006 to 2011, they served as a Nurse Practitioner at Kansas City Dermatology, LLC/Associated Plastic Surgeons, LLC. In 2011, they joined Biophysical Corporation as the Clinical Relations Director-Physician Liaison and Program Developer-PreDiabetes Program. From 2012 to 2021, they held multiple roles at United Healthcare-Optum Division and UnitedHealth Group-Optum Division, including Regional Director, South Central Region, Senior Manager, Clinical Operations, and Senior Manager/Regional Director, HouseCalls. Julia currently serves as a Senior Healthcare Consultant and Business/Payer Development at Savor Health.

Julia Penberg received their Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Kansas in 2009. Julia then went on to obtain their Masters of Business Administration from The University of Dallas. Finally, they earned their Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas-Austin.
