Marcus Österberg

Marcus Österberg has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marcus has held various roles in different companies.

From 2023, Marcus has been working as the Sales Director, Defence at Savox Communications Ltd.

Prior to their current role, Marcus worked at Sako Ltd - Part of Beretta Group for a significant duration. Starting in 2012, they served as the Senior Sales Manager responsible for managing a team and overseeing sales and marketing of SAKO products for Defence and Law Enforcement globally. Marcus was also in charge of the order-delivery process and brand management of the SAKO D&LE brand. In 2014, Marcus took on the role of Area Manager, Defence & Law Enforcement, where their responsibilities expanded to include sales and marketing of SAKO products in Europe, MENA, Asia, Oceania, and Northern America, as well as sales and marketing of Beretta Group products in the Nordic countries. Continuing at Sako Ltd, Marcus also worked as a Sales Manager, Defence & Law Enforcement from 2012 to 2014, focusing on sales and marketing of Beretta Group products in the Nordic and Baltic countries, while also handling brand management for the Beretta Defence Technologies (BDT) brand.

Before joining Sako Ltd, Marcus worked for Consti Group. From 2008 to 2012, they served as the Head of Marketing and Communications, responsible for Consti Group's marketing and communication in Finland. Marcus implemented the Consti brand across all fourteen acquired companies. Marcus also briefly held the position of Sales Manager during their time at Consti Group.

From 2004 to 2008, Marcus worked at Oy Hedtec Ab as a Product Manager.

Marcus also has experience working for international organizations. Marcus served as a Team Leader for the United Nations from 2007 to 2008, where they were responsible for their team's performance and monitoring the military situation in their assigned area of responsibility. Additionally, they worked for the Finnish Defence Forces, first as a Paymaster / Logistic Officer from 2003 to 2004, and later as a Situations Officer from May 2003 to October 2003. Marcus returned to the Finnish Defence Forces as a Paymaster from October 2006 to April 2007.
