Veli-Matti Anttila

Veli-Matti Anttila's work experience includes serving as the Head of Center of Excellence at Savox Communications Ltd from 2012 onwards. In this role, they demonstrated exceptional leadership and management skills by supervising product development and management teams, ensuring high-quality software processes and delivery. Anttila also championed ESG initiatives within the company and fostered a culture of continuous improvement by capturing and sharing best practices for more flexible ways of working.

Prior to their role at Savox Communications Ltd, Anttila worked at Elektrobit as a Senior Specialist from 2002 to 2012. During this time, they provided expert support to sales teams on quotations, evaluating, and estimating software work. Veli-Matti also led and steered multi-site Android platform development activities and processes, showcasing their proficiency in Android OS and Linux kernel.

Veli-Matti Anttila has pursued higher education in the field of computer science and computer engineering. Veli-Matti obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Oulu. Additionally, they have attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they focused on Computer Science.

In terms of certifications, Veli-Matti Anttila has achieved several credentials related to Agile methodologies and Scrum. Veli-Matti received the Certified Agile Leadership for Orgs (CAL-O) certification from the Scrum Alliance in June 2021. In June 2011, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification. Furthermore, in November 2014, they became a Certified Scrum Professional®-Product Owner and a Certified Scrum Professional®-ScrumMaster. Lastly, in December 2009, they received the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification.
