Özgür Özdemir

Özgür Özdemir is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the defence industry, currently serving as the Director of Logistics Coordination at the Presidency of Defence Industries since December 2007. Responsibilities include overseeing Life Cycle Management and Logistics Support for defence projects, developing the Life Cycle Management Strategy, and coordinating long-term support strategies for naval systems and simulators. Özdemir has held various significant positions within the organization, including Defence Industry Expert, Director of Auxiliary Ship Programs, and Group Leader for Communications Electronics and Information Systems Projects, where tasks encompassed project management, quality assurance, and compliance with international standards. Prior to this, Özdemir worked at STM and Ideanova Software Consultancy, contributing to quality assurance and technical affairs, and has a B.S. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
