Senior Instructional Design Analyst at Savvas Learning

Amber Fuhrer has a diverse work experience in instructional design and development. Amber started their career in 2004 as a Curriculum Coordinator at Pima Medical Institute. In 2005, they joined Pearson as an Instructional Designer and later worked as a Subject Matter Expert (Independent Contractor). Amber continued their roles at Pearson until 2016. From 2015 to 2016, Amber also worked as an English Instructor at Central Arizona College. In 2017, they joined A Pass Educational Group, LLC as an Instructional Designer (Independent Contractor). Later in the same year, they moved to Pearson again and worked as an Instructional Design and Development Analyst until 2019. Currently, they are working at Savvas Learning Company, starting as an Instructional Design and Development Analyst and later promoted to Senior Instructional Design Analyst in December 2021.

Amber Fuhrer obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Arizona State University, where they studied from 2001 to 2003. Amber pursued a Master's degree in Education from the University of Phoenix, attending from 2003 to 2005. Later, they completed a Master of Arts degree in Information & Learning Technologies with a focus on eLearning Design and Implementation at the University of Colorado Denver from 2010 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Amber Fuhrer has obtained several certifications. Amber completed the "15 Secrets Successful People Know about Time Management (getAbstract Summary)" and "Three Tips for Managing Egos and Difficult Emotions" certifications from LinkedIn in July 2022. Amber also obtained the "Unconscious Bias" certification from LinkedIn in December 2021 and the "UX Foundations: Accessibility" certification in November 2021, also from LinkedIn.
