Annette Blakely Taylor has over 30 years of work experience in the education field. Annette began their career as a Teacher at Greenville County Schools in 1989 and later transitioned to roles such as Technology Module Instructor and Instructional Coach and IB Coordinator. In these positions, Annette provided personalized support to teachers and focused on expanding their understanding of effective instruction. Annette also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Carolina Upstate in 2009. Annette joined Pearson in 2009 as an Educational Consultant, where they provided consulting, implementation planning, and training services to customers. Annette later became a Lead Intervention Specialist and a Project Manager within the organization. In 2020, Annette joined Savvas Learning Co as an Education Specialist - Interventions. Throughout their career, Annette has demonstrated their expertise in education, customer relations, and project management.

Annette Blakely Taylor completed their education at Clemson University from 1984 to 1988. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Education degree in Elementary Counseling and Guidance. Prior to attending Clemson University, Annette graduated from Travelers Rest High School in 1984. Additionally, in 2007, they obtained a certification as a Middle Childhood Generalist from the National Board of Certified Teachers.
