Katie Winer

Katie Winer has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Katie started their career as a Summer School Technology Teacher at School District 74 in 2001 and held the position until 2004. In 2000, they joined Palatine School District 15 as a Math Teacher and taught seventh and eighth-grade math until 2014. During their time at Palatine School District 15, they also worked as an Administrative Facilitator at School District 15 from 2006 to 2007, where their main responsibilities included school improvement planning, data collection/analysis, and testing coordination. In 2005, they held the role of an Event Coordinator for multiple organizations until 2012. In 2014, they started working at Pearson as a Math/Science Specialist and continues in that role until now. In 2019, they also joined Savvas Learning Company as a Math Specialist.

Katie Winer earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Teacher Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1996 to 2000. Katie then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Mathematics Teacher Education at National Louis University from 2000 to 2004.
