Systems Engineer at Savvas Learning

Larry Kershberg has extensive experience in the field of systems engineering. Larry started their career at Businessland in 1988, where they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer. In 1993, they joined Pearson Education as the Director of Engineering, where they provided leadership and strategic direction to the Engineering Technology group. During their tenure at Pearson Education, Larry accomplished various tasks such as designing digital conversion readiness assessment processes and support models, increasing first-time support call resolution, implementing support escalation SLAs and communication processes, and developing interoperability customer assessment readiness and installation documentation. Larry also implemented consistent product trainings for the support and field teams. In 2017, Larry returned to Pearson as a Systems Engineer, and later transitioned to Savvas Learning Co (formerly Pearson K12 Learning).

Larry Kershberg's education history includes attending the Computer Processing Institute from 1983 to 1984, where they obtained a degree in Technical Electronics Technology: Computer Electronics. Larry also attended the same institute during that period to study Electronics Technology & Microprocessor Electronics. In 2010, Larry attended Central Connecticut State University and received a Yellow Belt degree in Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Process Engineering.

Additionally, Larry has obtained several certifications, including ITIL Foundations Certification from PeopleCert in June 2019, Atlassian JIRA: Installing and Administering from LinkedIn in August 2017, Google Apps for Educators from LinkedIn in August 2017, Learning Chrome OS from LinkedIn in August 2017, Scrum: Advanced from LinkedIn in August 2017, and Agile Project Management from Lynda.com in July 2016.
