Liz Whalen

Liz Whalen has a diverse range of work experience. Liz began their career as an Editorial Intern at NextStep Magazine in 2003. Liz then worked at The Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics as an Editorial Assistant and later as an Assistant Editor from 2005 to 2007. Liz then moved on to Sopris West/Cambium Learning, where they served as an Editor and Correlations Specialist from 2007 to 2012. Liz briefly worked at Millennium Pharmaceuticals as a Project Manager for Corporate Communications and Corporate Branding from 2012 to 2013. Liz then joined Pearson where they held various positions, including Development Editor from 2010 to 2012, Account Manager for K-12 Custom Product from 2013 to 2016, Regional Custom Director for North/Central Regions in 2016, and Senior Custom Account Manager for Humanities & Literature from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Liz works at Savvas Learning Co (formerly Pearson K12 Learning) as a Product Manager for Custom Humanities, Science, and Literature, a role they have held since October 2019.

Liz Whalen has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Mary Washington. Liz also holds a Graduate Certificate in Publishing from Emerson College. Additionally, they attended Gould Academy, but the specific degree and field of study are unknown.
