Mary Cooney

Mary Cooney has over 30 years of work experience in the education publishing industry. Mary started their career as a Marketing Product Manager at McDougal Littell in 1991 and worked there until 1994. From 1994 to 1996, they served as an Editorial Director at Encyclopaedia Britannica. Mary then joined ETA Cuisenaire as a Product Development Manager from 1996 to 1999. Mary then joined McGraw-Hill as an Editorial Director from 1999 to 2013. After that, they worked at Pearson North America as a Supervising Editor from 2013 to 2016. Currently, they are an Editorial Manager at Savvas Learning Co (formerly Pearson K12 Learning), a position they have held since September 2016.

Mary Cooney has a Master's of Education (Ms Ed) in Mathematics Education from Long Island University. Mary also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mathematics from SUNY Geneseo. In addition, Mary has obtained a certification in UX Foundations: Accessibility from LinkedIn in December 2021.
