Rachel Powers-Scanga

Rachel Powers-Scanga has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Rachel began their career in 1998 as a Reading/ELA Supervisor at Pasco County Schools, where they worked until November 2011. Rachel then joined McGraw-Hill Education as a Sales Representative PreK-12 from November 2011 to August 2018. Rachel later assumed the role of Florida District Manager at McGraw-Hill Education from August 2018 to October 2021. Currently, Rachel holds the position of Director of Sales at Savvas Learning Co (formerly Pearson K12 Learning) since October 2021.

Rachel Powers-Scanga has pursued their education in the field of education and administration. Rachel attended the University of Scranton to study Educational Leadership and Administration, with a focus on general education. Later, they enrolled at the University of South Florida, where they obtained a Master's degree in Reading Education K-12. Additionally, they pursued a degree in Special Education and Teaching, specializing in Specific Learning Disabilities K-12, from the same university.
