David Ben Zakai

David Ben Zakai is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Chief Engineering Officer at Savvy since August 2021, David previously held the position of Chief Architect at Fireglass, which was acquired by Symantec, where responsibilities included leading cloud-native initiatives and managing multi-tenant architecture, micro-services, scaling, service mesh, and CI/CD pipeline development. Earlier roles featured positions at Websense and IBM, focusing on system-level programming and software development for networking and data management solutions. David's career began with a foundational role as a QA Engineer at Check Point Software Technologies and includes military service as an airborne communications operator and team leader in the Israeli Air Force.
