Rich Jackson has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Rich started their career in the Army in 1993 as an Infantry Officer and later became a Colonel in the Special Forces. After leaving the Army in 2020, they joined Sawdey Solution Services as the Executive Director of Operations. Prior to this, they held various leadership positions in different organizations, including the Defense Threat Reduction Agency and the National Counterterrorism Center. Rich also served as a Senior Vice President and Director of Global Operations/Plans in the Joint Special Operations Command. Throughout their career, Rich Jackson has developed strong expertise in operations, technical support, and contingency operations.

Rich Jackson has a diverse education history. In 1989, they enrolled in the University of North Florida and completed the US Army ROTC program, earning the title of Distinguished Military Graduate. Rich continued their studies at Jacksonville University from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government.

In 2004, Rich pursued further education at Webster University and successfully completed a Master's degree in Management in 2005. Additionally, in 2011, they attended the Harvard Business School Executive Education program, specializing in Negotiations & Leadership.

Alongside their formal education, Rich has obtained various certifications. In 2020, they obtained the designations of Certified Project Director (CPD), Certified Project Master (CPM), and Certified Project Officer (CPO) from the Institute of Project Management. Furthermore, in November 2022, they received an Advanced Strategy Program certification from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
