Gregory Galant

Gregory Galant is the CEO and co-founder of Sawhorse Media, a media company that owns and operates a number of popular websites, including Shorty Awards, an awards show that honors the best in social media. Gregory is also the founder of CNN.com's iReport, a citizen journalism initiative that allows users to submit news stories and photos from around the world. Prior to Sawhorse Media, Galant was the CEO of RadioTail, a podcast advertising company that worked with BusinessWeek, TheStreet.com, and Focus Films. Gregory also served as an intern at Newlight Associates, a venture capital firm, and as the chairman of Halenet, Inc., a web development company they founded at the age of 14.

Gregory Galant's educational career began with a BA in philosophy from Emory University.
