Gaurav Saxena

Gaurav Saxena is a Senior Software Engineer at Saylent since July 2017, specializing in handling the analytics platform database hosted on AWS Postgres RDS and working with Spring Data Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash to develop new analytics solutions. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineering Intern at PayPal, where Gaurav developed a utility application in Python for measuring RSSI values of BLE devices and an Android application for performance testing of BLE devices. Additionally, Gaurav served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Northeastern University, focusing on Database Management and Design, and worked as a Senior Data Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, excelling in Oracle database development for the Ultimatix CRM Project and receiving an On The Spot Award for outstanding performance. Gaurav holds a Master of Science in Information Systems with a focus on Big Data Analytics and Data Science from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Acropolis Institute of Technology.
