S. M. Waliullah Hossain

S.M. Waliullah Hossain has over 11 years of work experience in the field of human resources. S. M. Waliullah currently holds the position of Head of HR Operations at South Bangla Agriculture & Commerce Bank Limited since August 2021. Previously, they worked as a Senior Human Resources Manager & In Charge at Jamuna Bank Ltd, where they were responsible for various HR functions. S. M. Waliullah also held the position of Specialist at the same company from September 2015 to December 2017. Prior to that, they worked in the Organization Development and Human Resources Division at Bank Asia Limited from September 2014 to September 2015. Hossain started their career as an Intern at United Commercial Bank Limited in September 2010 and later held positions as HR Analyst and Senior HR Analyst at the same company. S. M. Waliullah has proven expertise in recruitment, selection strategies, implementation of assessment centers, and management of HR KPIs.

S. M. Waliullah Hossain completed their MBA in Human Resources Management from North South University from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained their BBA in HRM and Marketing from the same university from 2006 to 2010. Before entering college, they completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) in Science from Birshreshtha Munshi Abdur Rouf Public College, BMRPC from 2003 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, S. M. Waliullah Hossain also completed a Management Development Program from the Institute of Business Administration in September 2016.
