Igor Rapokhin

Igor Rapokhin, CFA, is an experienced financial professional who currently serves as a Senior Fixed Income Strategist at Sberbank CIB since March 2021, specializing in FX, rates, and sovereign credit research within the Russia and Former Soviet Union economies. Prior to this role, Igor worked at VTB Capital and BCS Global Markets as a Fixed Income Strategist, contributing to insights in fixed income markets from September 2018 to September 2018 and March 2017 to September 2018, respectively. Earlier experience includes serving as a Lead Economist and Economist at the Bank of Russia from September 2014 to March 2017 and a brief internship at the same institution in April 2014. Igor holds a Master's degree in Economics and Finance from the Higher School of Economics (2014-2016) and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from the same institution (2010-2014).
