Neeraj Kumar

Neeraj Kumar has an extensive work experience in the field of information and cyber security. Neeraj is currently working as the Vice President of Security Strategy & Engineering at SBI Card, where they are responsible for developing and maintaining the information security program and controls across the enterprise. Neeraj manages various security programs such as cyber threat detection, incident response, application security, and identity and access management. Neeraj also oversees regulatory compliance requirements and leads the design of security controls and architecture principles. Prior to their current role, Neeraj held positions as an Assistant Vice President of Information & Cyber Security at EXL, a Project Manager of Security Management at Wipro, and a Manager of Security Risk Management at Aon Hewitt. Neeraj started their career as a helpdesk engineer and gradually transitioned into the field of information security. Neeraj has a strong background in technical expertise and has successfully managed and mentored high-performance teams.

Neeraj Kumar has a diverse education history. In 2004, they obtained a B.Sc degree in Information Technology from Punjab Technical University. Neeraj then pursued further education and from 2017 to 2019, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Information Technology & Human Resource from Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU), Meerut. Prior to these degrees, Neeraj completed their Intermediate education with a focus on Science at R.B.P College (Govt) in Bairgania-Sitamarhi from 1999 to 2001. Neeraj also obtained their Metriculation degree in Commerce from Govt. High School in Bairagnia-Sitamarhi-Bihar-India from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Neeraj has also obtained various certifications in the field of information security and technology from institutions like ISACA, SISA Information Security, Udemy, EC-Council ASEAN, BSI, Mandiant, ESI International, AirTight Networks, Qualys, CompTIA, EXIN, and Microsoft.
