Badr Shaweesh has extensive work experience in various financial and administrative roles. Badr started their career in 2001 as Chief Accountant at Al Atfeen Transport & Gen. Const. Est. where they handled all aspects of the Accounts Department. In 2007, they joined SBK Holding & The Private Office of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as Head of Accounting, responsible for coordinating activities in the accounts department. In 2018, they became Head of Finance and Administration, managing finance and administration duties under SBK Holding Group. Shaweesh served as a Real Estate Manager at PREA (Private Real-Estate Administration) from 2019 to 2021, overseeing daily operations of real estate properties. In 2021, they worked as a Financial Advisor/Negotiator at Al Shohub Private School, leading the sale agreement negotiations and supervising due diligence procedures.
Badr Shaweesh pursued their education from 1994 to 1999 at Tishreen University, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications. In January 2018, they completed a course on Accounting for VAT through PwC. In March 2023, they obtained a certification in Analyzing Growth Drivers & Business Risks from the Corporate Finance Institute. Furthermore, in June 2023, they acquired a certification in Investment Risk Management through Coursera.
