Pieter van der Linden has had a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Pieter began their career in sales, working as a Verkoper at Opel in 1985. Pieter then moved on to work as a Sales Representative at Henkes United Distilleries from 1985 to 1986, followed by a sales role at Lucas Bols B.V. from 1986 to 1988.

In 1988, Pieter joined Bayer Garden as a Sales Representative and later took on the role of Account Manager from 1993 to 1997. Pieter then became the Marketing Manager Benelux at Bayer Garden from 1998 to 2003.

Pieter transitioned to Bayer CropScience in 2003, where they worked as a Business Manager until 2005. Pieter then returned to Bayer Garden, assuming the position of Country Manager Consumer from 2005 to 2009.

From 2009 to 2011, Pieter served as the Country Group Manager for the Netherlands, UK, and Ireland at Bayer Garden before moving on to Bayer Environmental Science.
