Freya W. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic sourcing and category management, currently serving as Category Manager for Rotating Equipment at SBM Offshore since November 2018. In this role, Freya leads the machinery and vendor selection process for EPCI FPSO projects, develops category strategies, and assesses key vendors to enhance SBM's competitiveness. Previously, Freya held the position of Group Strategy Manager at SBM, providing strategic guidance for offshore wind technology diversification and partnering in EPCI contractor development. Prior experience includes serving as Technical Purchaser at SBM and Strategic Purchaser at Van Oord, where Freya managed significant contracts and negotiations for offshore wind projects.
