Marcelo Dourado

Marcelo Dourado, PMP, serves as the Global Decommissioning Manager at SBM Offshore since July 2017, having held various roles including Operations Risk Manager and Head of Operations in Angola. Previous experience includes leading offshore drilling operations as General Manager at Ensco plc, overseeing four drilling rigs with significant P&L accountability. As Managing Director at Subsea 7, Marcelo directed business operations and developed strategies for growth and community initiatives. Earlier roles include Project Manager at FMC Technologies, where coordination of subsea systems projects took place, and Product Development Engineer at Ford Motor Company, managing product development cycles and budgets. Marcelo holds an MBA in Project Management from FGV and has completed executive leadership programs at Cranfield School of Management and Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.
