Mateus Faria

Mateus Faria is a Senior Reliability Engineer at SBM Offshore since April 2022, with extensive experience in reliability engineering and maintenance management. Previously, Mateus worked at Raízen in various roles including Senior Corporate Reliability Engineer and Supervisor of PPCM and Reliability, where significant achievements included the establishment and management of a planning and reliability team, successful implementation of maintenance strategies, and the development of an innovative online RCA management system. Earlier experience includes roles at Samarco, Vix Logística S/A, Vale, and ANP, encompassing maintenance engineering, failure analysis, and materials management. Mateus holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo and is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Materials Engineering at UFOP.
