Victor Mouta Souza

Victor Mouta Souza has a diverse work experience in finance and auditing. Victor started their career as an intern at Ampla Energia e Serviços S.A., where they were responsible for compiling and sending periodic reports on energy production, purchasing, sales, and losses. Victor also assisted in creating and translating PowerPoint slides for national and international visits.

After their internship, Victor joined KPMG Brasil as a Senior Auditor, a role they held for four years. During their time at KPMG, they gained valuable experience in auditing and financial analysis.

Following their stint at KPMG, Victor joined Ball Corporation as a Cost Analyst. Victor performed cost analysis, ensured the accuracy of cost records, and contributed to the company's profitability through control measures and action plans. Victor also provided support to the business in new opportunity and new business development projects.

Most recently, Victor worked at SBM Offshore as a Finance Lead. In this role, they led the reporting team in Brazil and was responsible for budget control across various departments and projects. Victor prepared and presented monthly reports to department managers, monitored costs, and provided analysis of actual costs versus budgets and forecasts. Victor also liaised with the company's headquarters in Monaco and Amsterdam to meet reporting deadlines and was involved in identifying and provisioning for potential unaccounted costs.

Victor Mouta Souza attended Estácio from 2011 to 2017, where they earned a degree in Ciências Contábeis with a focus on Contabilidade. Victor obtained a certification as a Contador from the Conselho Regional de Contabilidade do Rio de Janeiro (CRC RJ) in November 2018.
