Essex Thayer is a skilled production assistant and emerging sports journalist with extensive experience in covering various sports beats. Currently working at CBS Sports since April 2023, Essex serves as a production assistant, spotter, and operator for PGA TOUR events. Concurrently, at SB Nation, Essex manages coverage for Wake Forest football, basketball, and baseball, contributing over 100 articles and leading social media activations. Previous roles include managing editor at FanNation, where over 150 articles were written on sports beats, and a marketing and media relations intern at the Wyndham Championship.
