Jude Seymour

Jude Seymour currently serves as the Deputy Director for the New York State Board of Elections since March 2024, and has been a Writer/Senior Editor at SB Nation since January 2017, where contributions include staff writing and podcasting for the One Foot Down fan site focused on Notre Dame athletics. Previous roles include Elections Commissioner at the Jefferson County Board of Elections from February 2015 to March 2024, and Director of Communications for New York State Senator Joseph A from November 2013 to January 2015. Jude also served as Deputy Campaign Manager and Spokesman for Matt Doheny For Congress between June 2011 and November 2012, and worked as a political reporter for both WWNY-TV 7 and the Watertown Daily Times. Jude holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film, Television & Theatre from the University of Notre Dame, earned from 1998 to 2002.
