Mark Shiarla

Mark Shiarla has a strong background in cybersecurity and IT auditing. Mark is currently working as a Senior IT Auditor at SBS CyberSecurity. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at Antwerp Exchange Bank, including Information Technology Officer, Security Officer, and Secretary of the Board of Directors. Mark also gained experience as a Senior Network Technician at RDSI Banking Systems from 2000 to 2013.

Mark Shiarla completed their education in various fields. In 1992, they attended Heidelberg University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1996. Later on, they pursued further education and earned an Alison CPD Certified degree in NIST - Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) Foundation from Asean Online Education AOE in 2022. Additionally, Mark obtained certifications from CompTIA, including an A+ Certification, and from Microsoft as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer in NT 4.0. Mark also acquired expertise in IT Security through the SANS Technology Institute, where they obtained the SANS Institute GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials Certification).
