Christian Cain

Christian Cain is an experienced professional currently serving as the Innovation Lead for Specialised Risk Services at SBV South Africa since December 2021. Prior to this role, Christian held several key positions at Absa Group, including Head of Operations for ABSA Cash and Cheque Management, where responsibilities included managing an outsourced operational estate and overseeing financial, control, and reconciliation functions. Christian also contributed as Manager for Robotic Process Automation and Regional Operations, and played a significant role in strategic transformation efforts within cash operations. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Barclays and Absa, along with a solid foundation in business development and financial planning at Indevco Business Consultants and Branson Financial Services. Christian holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of South Africa.
