Timothy Li

Timothy’s background spans a spectrum of emerging technologies including autonomous driving, location-based services, enterprise collaboration tools, and augmented reality. Most recently, he was Head of Platform at startup Theta Labs, working towards implementing a vision of a decentralized content delivery network, underpinned by blockchain-based rewards. While in graduate school, he spent time at Andreessen Horowitz focused on investments in autonomous systems, AR/VR, and blockchain. At HERE Technologies, Timothy worked on growth strategies in mapping for autonomous driving, trucking logistics/fleet management, and mobility. He started his career at Accenture Labs, Accenture’s Innovation/R&D group, working on initiatives pertaining to human-in-the-loop computing, where he developed solutions in-house and led pilots with clients to bring products from ideation to PoC to market. He holds a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA from the University of Chicago - Booth School of Business.
