Shawn Kusma

Shawn Kusma has extensive work experience in the laboratory operations and environmental testing industry. Shawn is currently serving as the Vice President of Laboratory Operations at SC Labs since February 2023. Prior to this, from December 2019 to February 2023, Shawn worked as the President of Eurofins Environment Testing America, overseeing two business units and being responsible for full suite environmental testing and specialty trace metals analysis.

Earlier in their career, Shawn served as the Business Unit Manager at Bureau Veritas Group from January 2015 to December 2018, where they directed and managed a leading industrial hygiene laboratory with full profit and loss responsibility. Shawn also held the position of Laboratory Director at TestAmerica from February 2011 to December 2014, managing a full-service environmental and industrial hygiene laboratory with multiple locations. Prior to this, they worked as the Operations Manager at TestAmerica from November 2007 to January 2011.

Shawn's previous experience includes being the Organics Manager at ALS Environmental (formerly Columbia Analytical) from 2005 to 2007. During this time, they managed and directed various operational functions in the production departments, resulting in increased revenue and improved efficiency. Shawn began their career as a Chemist at Transwest Geochem, where they worked from November 1998 to January 2005.

Shawn Kusma attended Penn State University from 1992 to 1994. However, there is no information regarding the degree or field of study during this period. Later, from 1994 to 1996, Shawn pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, General at Arizona State University.
