Gabriel Oballos

Gabriel Oballos has been working as a Cloud Engineer at Escala 24x7 Inc. since 2021, and as an Especialista en Infraestructura de TI since 2021. From 2013 to 2021, they worked as an Asesor Tecnológico / Asociado at Asociación Cooperativa Hoatzin de Base Tecnológica, where they managed projects for re-structuring medium-scale data centers, designed architecture, and planned and executed solutions based on free software. Gabriel also installed and managed network services such as DNS, DHCP, NAT, Bridge, Routing, VLAN, Proxy, VPN, and Firewall. From 2007 to 2013, they worked as an Especialista en Telecomunicaciones at Fundación para el Desarrollo de la Ciencia y la Tecnología, FUNDACITE Mérida, where they maintained key applications and services, administered and monitored software, attended to users, installed subscribers, and connected the Mérida state's wireless network using Canopy and Mikrotik technologies.

Gabriel Oballos's education history includes a Técnico Superior en Mantenimiento Mecánico from Instituto Universitario de la Frontera IUFRONT from 1999 to 2002, and an Ingeniería Mecánica from Universidad Nacional Experimental del Táchira from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), MikroTik, Corporación Parque Tecnológico – Universidad de los Andes (VE), Cisco, and Universidad de los Andes (VE). These certifications include an AWS Cloud Practitioner (2021), Programa de entrenamiento Mikrotik: MTCRE, MTCWE, MTCNA, and MTCTCE (2016), Programa de certificación en telecomunicaciones y redes avanzadas módulo Enrutamiento y Seguridad Informática (2009), CCNA EsLaRed Fundación Escuela Latinoamericana de Redes (2006), Inglés niveles I, II, III (2003), and Técnico en seguridad e Higiene Industrial (2002).
