Swapnendu Sanyal

Swapnendu Sanyal is an Applied AI Engineer at Scale AI, specializing in Machine Learning and Large Language Models since February 2025. Previously, Swapnendu served as a Senior Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Avey, where notable achievements included developing a minimum viable product for an AI-powered insurance processing engine and creating a leading self-diagnosis symptom checker. Additional experience includes restructuring Avey's AI engine from a Python project to a scalable Golang backend and serving as a Course Assistant and member of academic committees at Carnegie Mellon University. Swapnendu holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
