Hiran Wijeratne

Hiran Wijeratne is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and team management. Currently serving as Head of Delivery and Director for UK/Europe at ScaleCapacity since April 2025, Hiran previously held the position of Director of Software, Health and Care at Civica from December 2019 to April 2024, where oversight was provided for five software teams comprising 43 engineers and testers across multiple business units in the UK and India. Hiran has a strong track record in managing the development and maintenance of over ten SaaS products, driving significant cloud migration initiatives, and fostering communication among cross-functional teams. Earlier roles include Software Engineering Manager/Director at Membership Engagement Services, Technical Product Owner/Associate Solutions Architect at TIQRI, and Lead Software Engineer/Software Architect at Simplay, with a career beginning as Software Architect/Principal Software Engineer at Surfpin.
