Sara Benefiel

Sara Benefiel, CPA, currently serves as the Controller at Scaled Agile, Inc. since July 2017, where the company is recognized for providing the SAFe® framework for enterprise agility. Benefiel has a diverse background in finance and accounting, including tenure as a Board of Directors Member at the Doreen Katz Memorial Cancer Foundation from December 2011 to December 2019, and roles such as Director of Finance & Administration at EcoSys and Accounting Manager at Gevo Inc. Previous positions also include General Accounting Manager and SEC Reporting Manager at MarkWest Energy Partners, LP, Accounting Supervisor at TransMontaigne, and Auditor at Arthur Andersen. Benefiel holds a BS and MaCC in Accounting from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business.
