Megan McGinty is currently the One Stop Operator Manager at scaleLIT. Prior to this, they were a Research Assistant at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine from November 2020 to January 2021. There, they determined eligibility based on inclusionary and exclusionary criteria of National Institutes of Health Infant and Toddler Toolbox (NIH Baby Toolbox) sample during the literature review, extracted statistical qualities of behavioral measures and entered data into Microsoft Excel, examined 390 pieces of literature across three domains of the NIH Baby Toolbox battery, and completed unfinished samples of former research assistants to finalize the Language domain. Before Northwestern University, Megan was a Research Assistant at Cook County Juvenile Court Clinic from January 2020 to November 2020. There, they contributed to Cook County Juvenile Court Clinic’s Juvenile Fitness to Stand Trial research project by collecting information from completed and redacted fitness evaluations using the research project’s coding scheme, maintaining accurate data entry into REDCap through Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, successfully creating a resource for parents of youth who are found Unfit to Stand Trial at the appropriate readability level, and establishing inter-rater reliability from 60 fitness evaluations and independently coding 94 fitness evaluations.
