Guy Baron

Guy Baron has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Guy is currently the Co-Founder & CTO at ScaleOps, a position they have held since March 2022. Previously, they worked at Wix.com as the Head of R&D from November 2019 to December 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Principal Engineer at WeWork from August 2018 to November 2019.

Guy's experience also includes a tenure as CTO at Qognify from January 2015 to September 2018, where they led the technology vision and collaborated with stakeholders to identify new business opportunities. Guy co-invented a novel approach for identifying abnormal behavior in CCTV video scenes and played a key role in the creation of the Operational Intelligence Center product.

Before Qognify, Guy was a Senior Engineering Manager at NCR: Software Defined Store from June 2013 to February 2015, where they were responsible for managing the software infrastructure group and overseeing non-functional requirements.

Guy also worked as the Chief Architect at Synerion Systems Ltd. from January 2009 to June 2013, where they owned the overall architecture of the company's new product suite.

Earlier in their career, Guy held roles such as Engineering Manager at Semantinet from December 2007 to December 2008 and Engineering Manager at Advantech Technologies, Ltd. from March 2006 to December 2007. Guy also worked as a Team Leader at MSN Israel and as a Senior Developer at Micron Engineering.

From 2001 to 2004, Guy Baron attended Tel Aviv University and studied Philosophy.
