Charles Prost

Charles Prost has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Charles began their career as an intern in software development at CEA in 2010. From there, they worked as an intern and then as an R&D engineer at CASSIDIAN CYBERSECURITY, where they co-created a Python-based software for running virtual machines with different hypervisors in the same network and obtained a patent for their work.

Prost then moved on to Airbus Defense & Space, Cyber Security Unit where they worked as a Security Engineer. Charles later joined Quarkslab as a Software/Automation Engineer, where they worked on various projects including improving a global-scale Internet scanner and developing tools for managing IPsec configurations.

In 2012, Prost took on the role of a Virtualization Teacher at Ecole nationale supérieure d'Electronique, Informatique et de Radiocommunications de Bordeaux.

Currently, Prost is working at Scality as a Python Software Engineer. Charles has also held the role of Team Lead/Manager, where they led a team of six developers and used Lean methodology to analyze problems and deploy solutions. Prost recently transitioned to the role of Director of Platform Engineering at Scality.

Charles Prost completed their education at two institutions. From 2005 to 2008, they attended Lycée Carnot in Dijon, studying Maths, Physics, and Computer Science as part of the "Classes Préparatoires aux Grandes Écoles" program. Following this, they pursued a degree in Computer Science, Network, Infra & Security at ENSEIRB-MATMECA from 2008 to 2011, ultimately earning a Diplôme d'ingénieur.
