Amanda Schneider

Amanda Schneider, MSN, RN, CMCN, CPC-A, currently serves as the Director of Value Based Utilization Management at SCAN since January 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Director of Utilization Management at Humana from June 2016 to January 2023, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing nursing teams in various care reviews and leading multiple direct reports. Amanda's career also includes positions as Associate Director and Manager of Utilization Management, where leadership involved staff development and collaboration to enhance team workflows. Earlier, Amanda worked as an ICU-RN at Clark Memorial Hospital, where key contributions involved managing critical care patients and participating in quality initiatives, and as an RN at Southern Indiana Rehab Hospital, focusing on patient care planning and discharge facilitation. Amanda holds a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from IWU National & Global and a Bachelor of Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University.
