Kristina Gustafson

Kristina Gustafson has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Kristina is currently working as the Senior Director of Strategy and Transformation at SCAN since 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at CareMore Health, starting as the Business Change Director in the West Region from 2018 to 2020. Kristina then served as the Director of the Operational Excellence Team from 2020 to 2021, and finally, as the Senior Director of Clinical Business Strategy and Operations/Chief of Staff to the Chief Medical Officer from 2021 to 2022.

Before joining CareMore Health, Kristina worked as a Senior Consultant at Elevance Health, where they led care delivery redesign and collaborated with value-based contracted providers. Kristina'sresponsibilities included optimizing practices and clinical processes, improving quality, and reducing costs across commercial and Medicare Lines of Business for Anthem, Inc. Kristina achieved significant cost savings within the value-based program through various initiatives.

Prior to their role at Elevance Health, Kristina worked at Huron as a Management Consultant in Healthcare from 2011 to 2016. Kristina also gained experience as a Product Manager at Thrive Research Inc, where they led the research and development team for digital health programs. Additionally, they worked at Sutter Health as part of the Alta Bates Medical Group, conducting research on quality measurements and disease management initiatives for private practice physicians and hospitalists.

Kristina's early work experience includes a role as a Clinic Coordinator at UCLA Health's Venice Family Clinic from 2006 to 2008.
