Matt Kazan

Matt Kazan has a diverse work experience in policy and health-related roles. Matt is currently serving as the Vice President of Policy & Government Affairs at SCAN since December 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Professor of the Practice at the University of Denver starting from September 2021. From April 2019 to December 2023, Matt Kazan held the position of Managing Director at Avalere Health. Matt also has a significant experience in the United States Senate Committee on Finance, where they worked as a Senior Health Policy Advisor from September 2008 to March 2019.

Matt Kazan obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, English, and Economics from the University of Denver in 2001-2005. Later, they pursued a Masters degree in Public Policy, specializing in Health Policy, from The George Washington University from 2007 to 2009.
