  1. GENERAL JOB FUNCTION

We are seeking a National Sales Manager who will be the pivotal driving force of our customer and market development in one of our ScanCom strategic regions - the USA. The National Sales Manager will be a crucial representative for our business and development, applying his/ her strong relationship management in working with the customers and prospects based in the above-mentioned area. This person will also manage and develop customers using Key Account Management in a B2B industry context; maintain, nurse and secure high customer satisfaction; as well as achieve the team’s objectives in alignment with the budget plan agreed and communicated by the VP of Sales – AMERICAS. 

  1. RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & AUTHORITIES:
  • Plan and manage business portfolio/territory/business according to the agreed sales strategy, approved sales target and activity plan per fiscal year.

  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions, ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.

  • Generate sales reports and forecasts as well as monitor sales performance.

  • Responsible for ensuring the implementation of business strategies with a high focus on contribution generation.

  • Responsible for market research, analysis on market trends and behaviours, and product development briefs presented bi-annually to Group Design responsible, VP of SALES, and the Group CCO

  • Visible and available to build customer relationships, focusing on a pre-defined USA customer base.

  1. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION  

Required Experience: 

  • B2B Sales and Marketing
  • Handling of customer relationship management
  • Handling of sales activities with limited economic resources and punctual care
  • Strong customer communication and relationship skills, strong public speaking and presentation skills, problem solving skills are essential.
  • Strong network in the American patio furniture industry is essential.
  • You are a creative and hands-on person who takes pride in taking ownership of the business and its external stakeholders
  • You have a high degree of entrepreneurship
  • You are goal-oriented and possess a high drive

Preferred Experience: 

  • Excellent customer service & relationship building skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Commercial understanding – must be able to “show the way” through a personal charisma and punctual communication
  • Knowledge of indoor and outdoor housing trends and movements
  • “Know how” in the Patio furniture business in the United States
  • Successful track record with sales results
  • Proven ability to effectively operate and communicate in a matrix environment and work effectively with business management, customers, and across business as well as organisational boundaries.
  • Proven track record to work independently, while achieving aggressive personal and geographic objectives. Highly motivated, “can do” attitude with strongly influential management skills.
  • Proven track record of good judgment, demonstrated integrity and respect from co-workers.

 Qualifications: 

  • Key account management skills.
  • Clever in spreading relevant communication.
  • The National Sales Manager is expected to be outgoing and capable of presenting results, motivate, be respected for selling ideas
  • Economic skills – handling of product ranges and contribution issues through profit & loss analysis accounts
  • Strong and professional person with a mature profile to match our key / customer expectation
  • Empathy – able to listen, understand, analyse and create advantages for the parties involved
  • Ability to think strategically and transfer into operative actions. Strong operational planning and analysis.
  • Performance management
  • Target oriented – able to achieve agreed targets through win-win activities.
  1. WORKING CONDITION 
  • Working place: Miami – Florida / REMOTE with regular travel to our office / showroom in Florida.
  • Working time: 40 hours a week – flexible hours – with daily contact with the sales support TEAM based in Asia.
  • Condition: is currently USA based and legally allowed to work in the United States of America.
