Jaana Nikunen

Jaana Nikunen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jaana currently holds the position of Head of Procurement at Scandic Hotels since April 2022. Before joining Scandic Hotels, they worked at Lidl Suomi for nine years, starting as an International Trainee in October 2013 and ending as a Procurement Manager in April 2022. In addition to their procurement role, Jaana also served as a Project Manager at Lidl Suomi from October 2015 to March 2018. Prior to Lidl Suomi, Jaana worked as an Insurance Representative at OP Corporate Bank (former Pohjola) from May 2008 to August 2011. Jaana began their career as a Customer Service Representative at Intersport Finland Oy from August 2006 to August 2007.

Jaana Nikunen has a diverse education history spanning multiple countries and institutions. In 2005, they began their studies at Saimaa University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing. Jaana completed their undergraduate program in 2009.

Continuing their academic journey, Jaana pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Marketing Management at LUT University. Jaana enrolled in 2011 and completed the program in 2013.

Moreover, in 2012, Jaana undertook BBA/MBA studies at San Francisco State University, specializing in International Business. This experience expanded their knowledge and international perspective within the business field.
