Bob van Mierlo

Bob Van Mierlo has a diverse work experience in the tobacco industry. Bob started their career at Swedish Match in 2001 as Manager Laboratory - Tobacco Research and worked there until 2010. Bob then joined Scandinavian Tobacco Group, where they held various roles including Manager Scientific & Regulatory Affairs, TPD Program Manager, Group Program Management Director, Director Standards and Specifications, and currently serves as the Head of Transformation and Technology. In their current role, they focus on optimizing production complexity through technology upgrades, global standardization of equipment, and reallocation of supply.

Bob Van Mierlo completed their Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from LUCA School of Arts from 1996 to 2000. Bob attended Vlerick Business School from 2009 to 2011, where they pursued an MBA. In 2003, they also received training in Six Sigma from Amelior.
